Prescription Lawsuits occur due to a wide array of reasons. Some Prescription lawsuits are a result of migraine headaches or other non-life threatening side effects while other lawsuits are prompted after a life threatening heart attack or pulmonary disease. In some cases such as Vioxx or Celebrex, the dangerous side effects are clear which prompt the FDA to ban the drugs saving many lives in the process. Unfortunately, many times the effects of a prescription drug are not know for years or even decades after the drugs are first being used causing people with seemingly healthy lives to develop life threatening problems decades after they took the drug.
